Last Snow
Vince Fazio 9x12 Oil on canvas panal SOLD
This painting was painted on a ground color of cadmium orange, the color has a way of glowing through the whole painting. I enjoy experimenting with different ground colors or underpaintings usually a very strong warm or cool.

In the Potato Patch
Libby Caldwell, Oil on Canvas, 9 x 12, SOLD
The late afternoon sunlight seems amplified as it shines through the plastic bag, making it the lightest and brightest form in this painting. The figures and the foliage are dappled in softer light.

Autumn Color
Robert Burridge - acrylic on paper 10x10 $275
This 10" x 10" acrylic on Fabriano paper is one of my "Loose and Juicy Landscapes." As part of my morning warmup exercises, I sometimes make a mess - I put lots of color down randomly with a paper towel, my fingers and a big brush. Then I do negative shape painting to reveal the colorful "tree." Remains me of the glorious autumn color back east, where I grew up

Desert Colors 6" x 8"
Cody DeLong
Oil on canvas panel, 6"x8" $250
This was a scene off of Bill Grey road, I had been tracking a herd antelope in the area and finally got a photo of one that I wanted before they ran off over a hill. I looked to the south and saw this scene, it was kind of stormy that day and I had to hurry to capture the light effects but I think I pulled it off. It reminds me of that special day every time I look at it.
